Splendid oil on canvas depicting a well-dressed young woman with a turban on her head holding a musical score in her hand, allegorically representing music. The painting shows interesting pictorial and drawing qualities and was probably painted by a painter of academic culture active between the 18th and 19th centuries, drawing inspirational strength from the calm classicist compositions of seventeenth-century Bolognese painting.The painting is in good conservative condition and does not have a frame.
The canvas measures 36cm x 48cm high.
