"Sprinkler, Sterling Silver, XIXth Century, Tunisia, Louis XVI Style"
Remarkable sterling silver rosewater or orange blossom sprinkler dating from the nineteenth century and coming, according to the family tradition of the last owner, from Tunisia. The object is in excellent condition, is entirely embossed by hand and engraved with typical Louis XVI decorations. In several places the object is stamped with a hallmark with Arabic numerals 900, indicating the high purity of the silver alloy. It weighs 170 grams.
