"Andrée Chameron Portrait Of A Young Girl"
Beautiful profile portrait of a young girl painted on a dark background. The artist, Andrée Chameron (1894-1985) exhibited regularly at the Salon des Indepandants at the time when this salon was chaired by prestigious members of neo-impressionism such as Paul Signac or Maximilian Luce. Our painting must be quite early in his career. It is signed lower left and is framed in a beautiful 19th century gold leaf frame, unfortunately a little worn in places.
