India, 19th century, two superb and atypical polychrome terracotta heads depicting high-ranking characters. One of the heads is annotated Bombay on the reverse and the other Majput. The set is of very good quality.Total height with the bases perfectly highlighting these pieces: 37.5 cm and 34.5 cm (24.5 cm and 22 cm without the bases). The scale witness in the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a well-known brand.
Significant weight due to the high density of the material. Condition: visible losses and wear, normal in relation to the seniority and without affecting the very beautiful aesthetics.
