"Large Jar"
Beautiful and large enamelled stoneware jar with a thick cover, typical of ceramics from the Five Dynasties period. These large-scale jars were mounted by applying earth to a rope shape which was burned during cooking. There are a few scraps left inside. This jar is remarkable for the scale of its proportions and the thickness of its cover and the mastery of the craftsman who knew how to perfectly dose the viscosity of the enamel to obtain decorative dripping effects. We will report a slight restoration at the edge of the pass, such as they are practiced on the excavation fields at the end of the excavation.
