Very Large Cross, Hongmu Inlaid, Mother Of Pearl & Abalone, Vietnam 19thc

Here is a very beautiful large cross, carved in hongmu wood, very black, contrasting admirably with the mother-of-pearl and abalone inlays. Great finesse of details to represent foliage, vines and other garlands of leaves and flowers. Admire the iridescent colors of the abalone. Applied on cardboard covered with a moire of red silk.
Very good general condition, some tiny lacks, well mentioned on my detailed photos. Vietnamese working, dating from the second half of the 19th century.
