Theatrical character of the commedia dell'arté playing the mandolin, it is in polychrome painted white metal in the style of Vienna bronzes or Nuremberg lead.
This rare sculpture in this size for this type of subject, dates from the end of the 19th century around 1880 - 1900.

It is of good quality, in good condition, slight wear of time on the paint, no deformation, to note only a micro slit at the back (inconsequential and not very visible) .
