Beautiful pair of large Louis XVI ormolu and patinated bronze pair of candelabras, end of 18 thc / early 19th centuryA couple of Roman (a man and a woman) naked, half draped in a toga, carries a gilt bronze amphora from which escapes 3 natural rosebushes-shaped lights. The gilt bronze pedestal base is decorated with masks and a palmette frieze.High quality work, matt and shiny gilt, sharp sculpture and finely chiseled bronze.Beautiful set, very hight and decorative. Ideal above a fireplace, on a console or to illuminate a refined table.The set is in a good condition. Gilt is well preserved with some wear.
