"19th Century Boulle Cabinet"
A single door cabinet made using the Boulle technique. Chrysotile inlays in a brass engraving are a typical Boulle way of decorating furniture. This object is a characteristic representative of the school of this illustrious cabinetmaker. Surrounded by an oval brass door filong. On the upper edge an unusual floral application in bronze. The original white Carrara marble top has been retained.
