Exceptional vase clock from the Empire period, handles representing imposing swans holding garlands of flowers, surmounted by Eros God of Love in his chariot pulled by two doves on clouds, holding a torch and the reins. In bronze gilded with mercury, sublime original matte and shiny gilding. Original wire movement revised by watchmaker with its balance wheel and key, the two springs are signed and dated FOURNIER 1813. Enamel dial, Bréguet hands, finely chiseled bezel. Oval base decorated with a frieze composed of a bow, quiver and arrow wrapped in mistletoe branches, resting on its four skate feet. Set of rare quality where everything is original and period.
