"Portrait 'young Girl With A Red Bow', Venetian Ambitus"
Painting representing a young girl dressed according to the fashion of the time. The luminous rendering of the dress, the large hat and the red ribbon is skilfully executed. The colors are vivid and stand out against the dark background. The high quality of the style and the pictorial rendering allows us to consider that the painting is attributable to Egisto Lancerotto, famous for his female portraits, active in the second half of the 19th century until 1916. The original format of the painting does not correspond to the current format; indeed, the dimensions have been reduced to an oval. The painting comes with a passe-partout and a contemporary Venetian frame.
