Rare spindle vase in heavy cut crystal (of a Pair - one in perfect condition, the other entire and presentable, but cracked) Probably Cristallerie du Creusot or Cristallerie Imperiale de Saint-Petersourg, around 1800 The fixture with antique profiles and wolf's heads , original mercury ormolu, of high quality and can be attributed to Thomire or Galle. We have not found any vases of comparable elegance in the available documentation.
