The 3 volumes. Jacques Necker, financier and politician from Geneva, was Syndic of the Compagnie des Indes. He was appointed financial adviser to Louis XVI, but in fact, he will lead the institution where he will be appointed and will end up being appointed director general of finance, reforming the institution from top to bottom.
