Dated 1920 PIPE-HARISGAN Fernand is a French painter born in Birraday in the Basque Country.
He participated in the Salon des Indépendants Bordelais in 1928.
The quarterly review L'Aquadémie - Cahier N° 1: Montparnasse et Montmartre of October 1922 wrote about him "A young Pyrenean, Pipe-Harisgain, exhibits a cattle market rich in gifts of fantasy and composition. Although very uneven, after such a painting, much can be expected of him".
The Literary and Artistic Review, organ of the Association of French Writers and Artists, published on May 1, 1926 writes: "Basque scene of amusing naivety. One day we could well start a Rousseau affair with Pipe-Harisgain".
