"Raymond Martin Ballerina"
Small terracotta sculpture representing a ballerina seated on the ground in dance attire. The sculpture is signed on the edge of the platform and titled Simone with the first name of one of her daughters. The head was broken off and reattached at the neck. Raymond Martin (1910-1992) is a sculptor responsible for many monuments in France, including the sculpture of Foch Place du Trocadéro or General Leclerc Porte d'Orléans in Paris.
