Old Kazak Lambalo, Dated 1931, Caucasus, 140 X 200 Cm, Wool On Hand-knotted Wool

Very nice artefact in used condition, dated 193, Kazak lambalo rug also named Kuba Gymil, originating from the Caucasus, near Georgia, hand-knotted in wool on wool, dated in Arabic numerals, 1931 from our calendar.
Our model has all the assets of the Kazak Lambalo, recognizable by this central medallion which can be alone and in two tones, red and blue.
This rug with large geometric patterns of stylized plants and flowers is composed of a large central medallion in a beautiful red, with an octagon as central ornament, placed on a midnight blue field framed by a wide border borrowing a variant of the border with crabs, and another border decorated with very stylized botehs.
The set is in used condition, wear on the entire carpet.
This rug is wool on wool dyed with a mixture of plants and minerals, the fringes are short.
The whole is very bright. .Velvet, wool warp that can be mixed with goat hair.
This rug has been professionally and environmentally cleaned.
