Artémis “anadyomene” Hair in headband, knotted bun, she replaces a lock of hair. The short tunic, the absence of a sandal as well as the weapons at rest (the bow and the dagger in its sheath), would indicate that she is leaving the water or that she is preparing to enter it after the hunt. Italian work in white Carrara marble in the Hellenistic style, from the neoclassical period, late 18th century early 19th century. Height: 73.5cm Width: 21cm Depth: 18cm
