"Important Royal Dux Porcelain Cup, Art Nouveau - 1900"
This important off-white porcelain bowl, enhanced with gold edging, is signed by the famous Royal Dux factory. The latter, founded in 1853 and bought a few years later by the recognized artist, Eduard Eichler, produced high quality vases and figurines, in naturalistic decors specific to Art Nouveau. This porcelain structure represents two nymphs perching on a shell placed on a rocky mound decorated with bunches of grapes, leaves and lilies. We will be moved by the sweet character that emerges from these two women with charming faces.
