Picking Flowers by Fréderic Ferdinand Koch (signed lower right) Provenance: Galerie Berko Was a painter and pastellist of figures, compositions, still lifes, draftsman and designer of posters. Born in Germany (Landau). Participated in 1909 in the great exhibition of Berliner. He lived for 15 years in Zwijndrecht near Antwerp and was active on the Belgian art scene and participated in the Antwerp exhibition in 1898, the triennial Salon des Beaux Arts in Brussels in 1903 and the Universal Exhibition and Brussels International in 1910. He designed the posters for the Scalden exhibitions of 1900 and 1901.
