"Chest Of Drawers "between Two" Louis XV Period."
Pretty chest of drawers curved on three sides, the front legs with pinched corners surround a curved front. The rosewood marquetry is placed with four leaves and surrounded by rosewood underlined with a net of boxwood. (old crack under the marble on the right side.) Rich ornamentation of original gilt bronzes typical of the period 1740 - 1750. (small lack on the right side of the shoe). Period marble top with Corbin beak. Dresser of good quality prior to the obligation of the stamp (1751). Furniture refinished and bronzes cleaned.
