Large chandelier with rich chiseled and gilt bronze trim with Baccarat crystal pendants. The assembly of crystals in the Louis XVI style echoes that of the famous necklace of the Queen (Marie-Antoinette). Napoleon III period, second half of the 19th century around 1880. Beautiful model lit by 10 lights on 2 floors (5+5), proportions are perfect, very elegant. This chandelier is characterized by the great care given to the bronzework, which is in solid bronze, gilded with fine gold and not simply in gilded brass.
