Very elegant pair of Louis XV style and Napoleon III period andirons in original gilt bronze with fine carving and decoration of an elegant couple in matte bronze seated on a decoration of typically Louis XV foliage. This model is taken in the 19th century from the original model kept at the Palace of Versailles from the 18th century.
