"Representation Of Christ In Wax - Mid Nineteenth"
Nicely framed with its gray Marie-Louise, this wax scene is probably the work of a religious congregation. The caption that accompanies it, on a black background, is taken from the Apocalypse: "Be faithful until death" ... and I will give you the crown of life, reveals the Holy Bible to us. At the foot of Christ on the Cross are Mary in blue and Saint Catherine, whom tradition assigns to the color green. Dimensions of 28 cm by 22.
