Made of crystal dyed in the mass which gives the vases their beautiful opalescent white colour.

The technique of opalising glass, obtained by adding tin oxide, was known in Venice as early as the 16th century. However, it was not until the early 19th century that it was used on crystal.

No restoration, crystal in perfect condition, some minor wear on the gilding consistent with age and use (see photographs)
