"Rare Traveling Painter Drawing Book"
Complete sketchbook of a 19th century traveling painter composed of 37 works. This work could correspond to that of an architect of the Historical Monuments. The drawings are regularly dated (day, month and year), mostly from 1854, and located. These are often views of monuments and landscapes, but also more original subjects such as Napoleon in Saint Helena.The notebook measures 24 cm x 33.5 cm, and most of the drawings are full page.
