"Louis XVI Style Chiffonier In XIXth Century Marquetry."
Beautiful chest of drawers in rosewood and plum marquetry on the drawer fronts with inlaid boxwood fillets in rosewood frames. The sides in rosewood marquetry are in frames of the same wood. It opens on the front with eight drawers. It is topped with a marble called "breche des cadeneaux" molded with a groove and rests on arched feet. Very nice proportions for this small piece of furniture with rather rare dimensions. Period first third of the 19th century. Very good state. Marble thickness: 3 cm. W/D/H inside a drawer: 37 X 26.5 X 10 cm.
