The Ercuis factory is an important French goldsmith house founded in 1867 and still in operation today. It is known for its production of silver-plated cutlery and tableware. At the end of the 19th century, it benefited from the strong development of silver metal goldsmithery with more than 300 workers in 1892. In 1908, it produced more than 8,000 cutlery pieces of all models per day. The important factory is located in Ercuis in the Oise, hence the name of the goldsmith.
