"Box In Marquetry Of Various Woods - Early Twentieth"
This small rectangular box is characterized by the richness of the work of its wood. The walnut veneer top on four leaves is surrounded by a green tinted wood fillet, followed by a rosewood frame, then decorative friezes, cedar burl and finally mahogany. Each of the four sides of this box is made of cedar burl, underlined by this same tinted wooden net. The lid mounted on three hinges is equipped with a kneeling compass maintaining its opening, and has a metal clasp in perfect working order. A beautiful storage accessory with a simple and timeless look.
