Large octagonal glass slab with peripheral bevel. It is carried by 2 squatting Nubians in carved gilded wood, mixed with gold and black lacquered. Iconic model of the ROMEO house, Faubourg Saint Antoine in PARIS. Numerous references from public auctions.

Superb condition, no worn gilding, just patina of use for a 50-year-old piece of furniture. Glass intact.
