PAGOTTO (19th - 20th century) Italian sculptor The music player Carved wooden statuette representing a Chinese, with brown patina, signature on the terrace. The finesse of the work is remarkable. The sculpture rests on a marble base. Work broken and repaired in two places on the arms. Missing a hand and the musical instrument (probably a flute). This has been replaced by a seashell. The set can create an illusion and is quite pretty. Work alone: height 27 cm Total height: 29 cm
