"Important Lamp In Opaline And Bronze, Louis XVI Style - 1950"
This important lamp in the Louis XVI style has a lampshade in golden yellow fabric with finely worked bias and fringes on the underside. The foot consists of two parts in opaline: an upper one, in a rounded vase, lined with grooves, connected by a golden acanthus leaf to the lower one. This last rectangular in chiseled molding is garnished with grooves. The whole rests on a bronze base with four claw feet, the angles of which are scroll-patterned on the top. This lamp with refined shapes diffuses subdued light for an intimate atmosphere.
