Representation after the work of Maurice Constant Favre of a knight of the crusades ready for battle. Bronze from the early 20th century, signed on the base, a cartridge titled "Le Preux". Brown and silver nuanced patina with some age wear, good condition. Le Preux by M. Constant appears in Bryan Catley's Art-Deco catalogue. This sculptor and engraver born in Paris (1875/1919) was one of the French artists in 1907 and took part in the Salon from 1896 to 1914.
