"Sculpture In Suspension "
Design floor lamp made in 8 copies signed by the artist Stéphane Chavanis, it is made of metal and plexigas. Decorative item in very good condition. Stéphane CHAVANIS is a contemporary artist known for his suspensions. After an introduction to drawing and classical sculpture, he extended his need to create first of all to free figuration (engravings, pastels, graffiti, resin sculptures), then focused on the neo-expressionist movement (paintings on panels of wood with hands, bronze sculptures, assemblies of recoveries, drawings made with wood soaked in ink) and finally it is expressed by painted and sculpted representations (tree trunk, dissolved faces, …) close to raw art...
