Portrait of a young woman from the early 19th century in neo-classical style with FJV signature. Very good quality of realization for this finished drawing work of a very good artist unfortunately not identified except by the presence of his initials. Complex and mastered technique of charcoal, graphite and chalk for this straight line portrait of the school of David. Note the presence of its very pretty gilded wooden frame in excellent condition. Dimensions 37 by 44 to the frame.
