IRAN / PERSIA.Curious pair of cylindrical boxes with rotating painted decoration.
The upper parts slide and reveal the interior housing (for rolls of documents?).
The decorations (different) represent a man and a woman in traditional costume (Kadjar?). Period: early 20th century.
Dimensions:
Heights: 46 cm.
Diameters: 9.7 cm (outside) and 8.2 cm (inside).
IN VERY GOOD USED CONDITION.
