"Pair Of Faience Plates From Varages Chinese Decor Eighteenth"
Superb and rare pair of earthenware plates from the 18th century from the Varages earthenware factory. They are decorated with a Chinese decoration, representing for one a character playing the flutes and for the other a character fishing in dominant purple and green tones. The gadrooned edges are adorned with 3 flowers and a purple net underlines the perimeter. Quality work in excellent condition.
