A cedar ‘Adige’ table cabinet decorated with Renaissance figures and animals.
North Italian, 17th century.
Measures 49 x 47 x 30cm.
With two panelled doors carved with silhouetted figures opening to reveal drawers and an architectural central cupboard, decorated in penwork with allegorical figures and Renaissance motifs. The reverse of the cabinet is carved with a previous monogram ‘AP’.
