Object description :

"Napoleon III Planter In Blackened Wood And Golden Decorations - Nineteenth"
Pretty Napoleon III Planter in blackened wood, whose upper element is cylindrical. Sculpted with double coves, it is also molded on the top and bottom edges and more modestly in its center. It is finely surrounded by golden vine branches and features three-point decorations of flowers and colored foliage. This Planter is joined to the Tripod foot on which it rests by a turned central shaft with moldings. The middle one is golden, as are the edges of the feet and the foliage generously present on this base. This element of Decoration, of a good solidity, constitutes a beautiful example of antiquity which will be able to find a place in a contemporary frame. ******* Period: 19th century Perfect condition of the wood after restoration in our workshop.
