"Blue Porcelain Cup From Lunéville, Napoleon III - 2nd Part Of The Nineteenth"
Porcelain cup, in a deep blue called 'de Sèvres', featuring in its center a large transverse frieze formed of inlays of particularly fine golden threads and enamel decorations. We also find these white stones in the petals of the flowers drawn on either side of this frieze. This Cup, with a flat bottom and flared neck, offers a scalloped edge, on which we can guess a golden border faded by its 150 years of history. It is enshrined by two ornate handles, themselves fixed on a round frame with an openwork gallery. The set rests on three metal legs shaped like mascarons. This cut structure initially Golden in its entirety has gaps in certain areas. It should be noted that this Cup is marked 'Lunéville' under its base, famous Faïencerie Lorraine founded in 1730. ********** Period: 2nd part of the 19th century Shipping possible by Colissimo with adequate protection.
