In a beautiful frame. dimensions: 65/54 cm 80/69 cm with frame some gaps on the frame BIOGRAPHY OF RAYMOND THIBÉSART 1874: Birth of Raymond Thibésart in Bar-sur-Aube. 1894: Settled in Paris, Raymond Thibésart enters the École des Beaux-Arts before joining the Académie Julian. His teachers Jules Lefèvre and Tony Robert Fleury introduced him to symbolism, an influence that marked the first part of his career. 1897: Raymond Thibésart becomes a member, then a gold medalist of the Society of French Artists. He exhibits regularly at the Salon d'Automne and the Salon des Indépendants. Early 1900's: Raymond Thibésart and his painter friend Emile Boggio travel to Italy accompanied by their painter friend, Henri Martin. Thibésart also travels through Switzerland, Belgium, Brittany, the south of France and Corsica in order to paint these different landscapes. 1968: Death of the painter at the age of 94
