etching on Japan paper, signed lower left W. Barbotin, (Ars-en-Ré 1861 - Paris 1931) after a painting by Jean-Jacques Henner (1829-1905) beautiful proof on Japan paper, on the theme of Suzanne taking her bath, watched by an old man in the left background.
William Barbotin was a pupil of William Bouguereau and Tony Robert-Fleury; he  won a gold medal in etching at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1900.
