Inflected quillon terminated by a cone. Filigree spindle of steel wire in inverted chevrons with 2 solid rings. Flat oval type blade with 2 cutting edges with median gutters on its base bearing engraving on both sides of the blade in the baton letter "IN MINI" and the LOUP DE PASSAU COURANT. Furnisher hallmark on the heel. These strong iron-mounted swords were the first French regulatory model at the request of LOUIS XV and under the direction of the Marquis de LOUVOIS.
