"Louis XVI Pendulum In Marble And Gilt Bronze"
Portico clock with four columns in turquin blue marble surmounted by antique pots and resting on a half-moon shaped base in white marble surrounded by rows of gilt bronze beads. On the marble terrace, a pot covered in Chinese white porcelain reveals the sun pendulum. The enamel dial adorned with very finely chiseled fleur-de-lys hands is signed by the watchmaker Henry in Paris. The clock is surmounted by a marble shuttle with pendants. The mechanism with a wire balance and striking the hours is in working order. Louis XVI period Note: an accident on the lid of the porcelain pot.
