"Provencal Quilted Blanket 18th Century Window"
Finely quilted Provençal cover with a border in pink silk taffeta, featuring an 18th century polychrome French Indian window in the window. The Indian is the result of a wood block printing with five color passages; exoctic flowers; it is most certainly brushed. The cotton canvas is burnt on the mordants but has retained all its freshness of color. The assembly dates from the beginning of the 19th century. Window: 82 x 72 cms.
