"Buffet Two Bodies In Solid Oak - Late Nineteenth"
Storage furniture in solid oak, Diminutive type, consisting by definition of an upper body less wide and shallower than the one on which it rests. Each of these two elements opens with two doors with recessed panels and mitred frames. They are equipped with discreet keyholes, locks in working order and original keys. The interiors are lined with two and one shelves respectively, 27 and 36 cm deep. All three are placed on fixed cleats. The lower part of this Sideboard also offers two drawers assembled with 'Dovetails'. Their facades are simply embellished with wooden pull buttons. This piece of furniture is topped with a Cornice à Doucine. The intermediate top is cut to the edge with fine mouldings. The set ends with a wide plinth, itself resting on two cut-out front legs and two straight rear legs. The two elements can easily be disassembled from each other by a simple system of return screws. We will appreciate the Narrowness of this Sideboard Two Body as well as its Sobriety. It will provide interesting storage capacity in a living room that lacks it, without cluttering it excessively. ******** Period: Late 19th century Perfect condition after restoration in our workshop.
