Rectangular Table In Solid And Veneered Mahogany - 1930s/1940s

Rectangular table with Mahogany veneer top slightly recessed. It is extendable at the ends by a system of slides allowing the insertion of two extensions. These are designed with stops, allowing both Stable and Fast positioning. The belt of this Table is in solid Mahogany, just like the two Blocks on which it rests. Each of these supports is itself terminated by four cut-out feet. Note the paradoxical alliance of these Massive Blocks of feet inspiring Robustness, and their discreetly curved lines bringing Finesse to the whole. An advantage important enough to be underlined, this Table can be dismantled into 3 elements (the top and the two blocks of legs), and therefore easily transportable. We will appreciate the charm of this easily modular table, which can accommodate from 8 to 14 guests depending on whether we choose - or not - to accessorize it with its extensions. ******** Period: 1930 - 1940 Excellent condition after restoration in our workshop.
