"Screen In Hard Lacquered Stones, China"
Magnificent Chinese screen from the 1990s, with four lacquered panels, presenting a court scene with women engaged in leisure activities on one side, and birds and colored foliage on the other side. The panels are lacquered, with pigments of soft pastel colors, encrusted with sculpted colored hard stones that stand out against the black lacquer. The bottom of each panel is decorated with fruit. Supported by straight legs ending in feet. It is in excellent vintage condition. dimension height 182 cm width 180 cm long
