"Pair Of Important Dagobert Armchairs, Curule, Renaissance Taste - Late Nineteenth"
These Renaissance-style walnut armchairs have an X-shaped base, embellished with foliage and foliage, and whose junction is made by a grotesque head. The armrests, which extend over the backrests, are carved with imaginary creatures, scrolls, and are topped with plumes. The upper crosspiece has a granite background, furnished with the same decorative elements as those described above. The seat consists of a removable brick-coloured thick leather cushion. The repoussé patterns are tangled. The Dagobert armchair is inspired by the throne of the King of France reminiscent of the style of antique seats. Today, they constitute a decorative whole, of beautiful design. Note: The presence of Cordoba leather cushions in very good condition, rare to find.
