Set Of 4 Nesting Tables, Napoleon III Style - Late Nineteenth

Set of four nesting tables, interlocking with each other, of increasing size. Black lacquered, their top is decorated with different natural motifs, birds, fruits, flowers, foliage and butterflies in various tones, golden yellow, orange, green and brown. Each rests on turned baluster legs, with light golden borders. The bases are cut out and, for some, embellished with foliage scrolls. The sides are underlined by nets as well as by golden foliage. The finesse of the illustrations of these small tables makes them a charming and original decorative element.

Good general solid condition, traces of wear on the lacquer and traces of friction on the second table.
