Knife called “à la Berge”, named after the inventor of the compass blades, one in steel, the other in silver, Orléans, 1775-1781. Hallmark LM different from a key Louis Molle, active in Orléans in 1775. The handle is in mother-of-pearl, the fittings in gold. Condition, good, traces of oxidation on the steel blade, small cracks in the mother-of-pearl.
